About EquinePlanner.com
You may be interested in going to a horse show but just don't know where to start. With so many different riding clubs and complicated rule books, finding the right show can be a very daunting task, particularly if you are new to showing. The Equine Planner provides you with all of your local show listings in one place, including direct links to the show organizers' websites and contact information, plus free guidance from other Equine Planner riders and the author on what to expect at your show so that you and your horse can be fully prepared.
The Equine Planner is dedicated to providing equine enthusiasts with informative and reliable show listings and resources, all in one place!
Founded in December 2008 by rider and trainer Naomi Leach from Nottingham, England. Naomi had been riding in the UK for many years and after moving to the United states in 2005 and being new to the American show circuit, found that it was somewhat difficult to find the right shows for both herself and some of her clients, without a lot of effort and searching.
The Equine Planner was designed to create a central database of all types of horse shows, both local and national and eliminate the headache of spending hours searching for the right show. To find listings in your local area, please visit the "search" page.
In addition to containing the details of thousands of equestrian events across the United States, The Equine Planner also offers advice from other riders and trainers and informative discussions in the forum. This is an excellent resource for any riders or parents who are looking to go to their first show and want to know what to expect, or for more experienced riders looking to discuss, higher level techniques or give advice to our newer riders.
The Equine Planner is also a very valuable resource for show organizers or anyone who is interested in hosting a show. Check out our "Show Services" page for a directory of show services in your area. Including, Course builders, ribbons/rosette supplies, Judges, Insurance, Jump Hire and many more.
We are always looking for ways to improve our website and provide a better service for our equestrian community. If you have any suggestions or feedback for us, we would love to hear from you. Email Equine Planner.
